A symbolic man with a symbolic action

After 3 photographers, Jeff Widener, Charlie Cole and Stuart Franklin captured this totally mysterious man that was wiggin out on June the 5th of 1989. The image of this man facing a tank was a total rad, on the Occident this image was shown as a symbol of the democratic movement of China. The meaning that they gave to the image was that a young unarmed man was risking his life only to stop the advancement of the military forces. Also, it reached some liberal democracies as a symbol of the power of a single individual can have to change the state politics. On the other hand the Chinese politicians on a bogus act used it to make it seem like if the military forces looked for their citizens saying that if they even had the order to move forward they won´t do it if it meant damaging a person.
